“NEW YORK LOVES NEW YORK” is derived from the idea that NYC’s communities take care of their own. Small runs of painted NY <3 NY pieces will be sold with full proceeds to a select community initiative or charity; a consistent project in between AMS collections. This month, full proceeds from NY <3 NY tees will be allocated to the Fulton Street Community Fridge in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, an initiative I’ve helped spearhead with neighbors and new friends in the community over the past months. NY LOVES NY : I $75—$100 sliding scale donation — though greater donations are welcome. Very limited edition; all a little different with their own slight imperfections. All pieces are sourced deadstock or second-hand, and dyed using a natural pigmentation process involving earth powders, indigo, and soymilk. Painted by Andrea Smith in NYC, Spring 2021.
